Jimmy’s Home for Wayward Dogs and a Cat Named George - Jimmy did not know he was a cat or dog lover until he rescued his first animal, George the Cat, back in the mid 90’s. Since, he has rescued dozens of dogs and has had up to 18 at one point living at Jimmy’s Home for Wayward Dogs and a Cat Named George (Jimmy’s back yard). Jimmy Belasco, owner of a signature, premium soy candle company bearing the same name, has created packaging that features some of the dogs,(and George the Cat), that have been his children. Though Jimmy is not sure that one should have “favorites” under such circumstances… he does. The three special puppies featured together here, Chastity, Hippity Hop and Baxter Boy. These three were born from Sonny and Cher, two dogs that were found dumped on the side of the road, too sick to get "fixed" but obviously not too sick to "make puppies"... these 3 puppies came out with their embryonic sacks deflated... and they each have varying stages of brain damage from a lack of oxygen...sort of like a puppy palsy. These are Jimmy’s special puppies, special in many ways... they are his heart!). On the back of each sleeve there is a story of the dog(s) featured on the front. Jimmy donates to the local SPCA.
