Somme Institute Skin Care, Simon Eranii

Simon Erani is the Founder and CEO of Somme Institute.  In this role, Mr. Erani is charged with overseeing the vision and direction of the company.  Under his leadership, Somme Institute was founded in 1996 as a research company dedicated to understanding the science of skin care.  Using ultra-violet photographs, Mr. Erani and his team of researchers conducted clinical trials on over 5,000 men and women to evaluate the efficacy of skin care products on the market and the validity of their claims. 

Concerned by the ineffective skincare products and the exaggerated industry claims seen in the clinical trial results, Mr. Erani expanded the vision of Somme Institute and began the quest to bring revolutionary skin care products to the market.  Determined to make perfect skin an attainable goal, Mr. Erani collaborated with lead researchers and dermatologists to develop the Somme Institute proprietary MDT5 technology and its 5-Step skin care Regimen. 

Prior to founding Somme Institute, Mr. Erani closely monitored and studied medical journal reports and research, and partnered with dermatologists and scientists to find solutions to common skin care problems.  Mr. Erani’s first research company, Dermatalogical Sciences Corp., served as a national sounding board for skincare information seekers. 

Mr. Erani continues to consult on issues concerning skincare and meets with industry experts and treatment providers to offer his knowledge and expertise.  He has and continues to collaborate with dermatologists and researchers at leading medical institutions including Harvard University, New York University, University of Pennsylvania and Yale University to bring further advancements and solutions to skin care concerns.  Somme Institue Collection
