Gilden Tree Foot CareDown the Aisle and Onto the Beach - Keeping Feet Pretty!
By Ann Thariani, President, Gilden Tree, Inc.

After the stress and excitement of your wedding, a beach honeymoon is a fabulous way to relax! Our honeymoon started with ten days on the beach at Hikkaduwa, Sri Lanka.  It was beautiful, magical and hard on my feet!

The beach does present special challenges - even if your feet were perfect for the wedding.  But just a little extra care will keep them soft and smooth!

Be sure to pack the basics in your honeymoon bag: a Footscrubber, Gilden Tree 95% Shea Butter Balm, and Nourishing Foot Cream.

  • Use the Footscrubber to tame dry skin and calluses.
  • Protect feet from salt water with a good coating of Shea Butter Balm.
  • After the beach, moisturize well with Nourishing Foot Cream.

Don’t forget SPF sun block all over your feet, and wear shoes to prevent burns from hot sand or cement, or when there’s a possibility of broken glass in the sand.

Apply Nourishing Foot Cream to any sunburn as soon as possible to help cool the burn and minimize peeling.  It helps because the main ingredient is Certified Organic Aloe Vera. The complete Foot Care Kit.

Take a little container of baby powder to the beach and sprinkle it on legs and feet to help remove sticky sand.  Watch out for black beach tar (which can be removed with white toothpaste.)

Then just dance your way through the tropical evenings with the one you love and start the journey of your life together with your feet in tip top shape!   Gilden Tree, Natural Spa Products
